My name is Roberta Racine. I am a creative entrepreneur and owner of Apple Photography here in Wilmington, NC. A little bit about my business, my why is legacy. Apple Photography has been in the Wilmington area over thirty years, I recently reopened it in my father’s honor. I always knew I wanted to not only be a photographer but own Apple Photography, the apple doesn’t fall far. I aim to preserve legacy in my photography of families and individuals, my photographic artwork is designed to last generation to generation.

As the mother of two young boys I am reminded of my love and bond with my own mother. She is the kindest of mothers. I am so fortunate to have had a father that was a photographer to capture milestones of my sister and I with her. Moments I’ll cherish forever. As a modern mama, I see behind the scenes and how busy it is to keep the family together. So often as a mama we are the ones behind the camera. I hardly have any portraits of myself with both of my boys or my dog. With my friend's suggestion, “You Are My Sunshine” was designed to create an heirloom that honors motherhood.
